This is not your typical circus. “Forest Circus” is a magical, immersive adventure that blends breathtaking performances with lush greenery and interactive fun. Set inside the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens, the event transforms one of the city’s most beloved nature sites into a living stage where flowers bloom into acrobats and laughter floats in the air.
A Living, Breathing Fantasy in the Capital
From the moment families enter the gardens, they’ll find themselves in another world — vibrant, dreamlike, and full of surprises. Aerial acrobats soaring 7 meters above ground, open circus training zones, lively music, clown acts, and hands-on workshops turn every path into a stage.
At the heart of it all: a sprawling meadow hosting three live shows each evening, with audience interaction, comedy, dancing, and live music — making it a rare sensory escape in the middle of the city.
When Jerusalem Becomes a Playground for Joy
Mayor Moshe Lion said it best: “This is the Jerusalem we love — a place of culture, nature, imagination, and joy.” Forest Circus is not just an event. It’s a city-wide invitation to breathe, laugh, and let go — for kids, parents, and even grandparents.
In a summer filled with tension and headlines, the circus offers something we all need: a pause button for the soul.

Nature, Identity, and Wonder — All in One Place
The Jerusalem Botanical Gardens is no ordinary venue. It’s the largest botanical garden in Israel, home to over 7,000 species from around the world. But this August, it becomes something more — a sanctuary of creativity and shared experience, where Israeli summers get a new meaning.
