The Palestinian Hind Rajab Foundation has filed a criminal complaint with the Office of the Supreme Public Prosecutor in Prague against Jerusalem rapper and IDF reservist Noam Tzurieli. The complaint accuses him of war crimes, crimes against humanity and acts of genocide linked to Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, and calls for his immediate arrest.
According to the foundation, Tzurieli is currently in the Czech Republic after performing in Prague on 13 November 2025. The complaint relies on material he posted on his social media accounts as well as statements and video footage he shared during his shows.
What is known about Noam Tzurieli’s background?
Tzurieli, 30, was born in Jerusalem and attended the city’s Himmelfarb high school. In his youth he was a national athletics champion, and he turned to music and live rap performances during his army service in the Duvdevan unit. He often performs at the Yellow Submarine venue in Jerusalem.
The Hind Rajab Foundation states that Tzurieli serves in the 699 reserves battalion of the Fire Arrows Brigade – 551, which entered Gaza on 27-28 October 2023 during the IDF ground operation.
His social media posts document repeated entries into Gaza, multiple deployments and involvement in destruction. A key event, according to the foundation, occurred on 8 November 2023 when Brigade 551 demolished a civilian building above tunnels near an UNRWA school in Beit Hanoun. The foundation claims that geolocation analysis and military sources indicate that Tzurieli was present at the scene. It argues that the demolition constitutes a crime against humanity.
The foundation adds that after returning from Gaza, Tzurieli released the single “Another Day in Gaza”, which it says glorifies IDF actions even as the UN and rights groups classify them as genocide.
It further claims that during a December 2024 performance, Tzurieli allegedly screened real footage of Israeli soldiers storming Palestinian homes and destroying structures. It also cites interviews in which he used phrases such as “break Gaza to pieces”.
Who is behind the Hind Rajab Foundation and what does it seek?
The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) was founded in September 2024 in Brussels as the legal arm of the Palestinian group “March 30 Movement”. It is named after Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian girl killed in Gaza in January 2024 along with six family members and two paramedics who attempted to rescue her.
The foundation states that its goal is “to break the Israeli cycle of impunity” and pursue “justice” for Palestinian victims and the destruction in Gaza by documenting, collecting evidence and initiating legal action over what it describes as alleged war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide committed by IDF soldiers.
