Amro was one of the two attackers who carried out the deadly shooting attack at the Ramot junction in Jerusalem less than three weeks ago, killing six Israeli civilians and injuring many others. An order was also issued to demolish the home of the second terrorist, to be executed later.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"834\">Demolition of terrorist\u2019s house in Al-Qubeiba<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"1377\">According to the Palestinian report, large IDF forces arrived in the village, located in the Ramallah district near Har Adar, between Friday and Saturday night. After the soldiers evacuated the residents from Amro\u2019s building and nearby houses, IDF sappers placed explosive charges in the walls of the apartment. At dawn, the charges were detonated, destroying the two-story structure. They opened fire while dozens of people were waiting at the station as bus line 62 arrived. Six Israeli civilians were killed:<br data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"1786\" \/>Rabbi Mordechai Steintzig (known as \u201cDr. Mark\u201d), 79, resident of Ramot B, Jerusalem. Founder of \u201cDr. Mark\u2019s Bakery.\u201d<br data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"1905\" \/>Sarah Mendelson, 60, resident of Ramat Shlomo, Jerusalem. Worked as a public relations manager at Bnei Akiva.<br data-start=\"2014\" data-end=\"2017\" \/>Rabbi Levi Yitzhak Pash, 57, resident of Tel Zion. Worked at \u201cKol Torah\u201d yeshiva and was known for his charitable deeds.<br data-start=\"2137\" data-end=\"2140\" \/>Yaakov Pinto, 25, immigrant from Spain, resident of Jerusalem, studied at Derech Emunah yeshiva in Lod and was a counselor in a high school yeshiva.<br data-start=\"2288\" data-end=\"2291\" \/>Israel Metzner, 28, from Bnei Brak, student at \u201cMeysharim\u201d kollel in Givat Shaul, Jerusalem.<br data-start=\"2383\" data-end=\"2386\" \/>Rabbi Yosef David, 43, resident of Ramot, Jerusalem. Killed on his way to kollel studies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2479\" data-end=\"2583\">The terrorists were neutralized by a Haredi soldier from the Hashmonaim Brigade and an armed civilian.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2585\" data-end=\"2627\">Weaknesses in the separation barrier<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2628\" data-end=\"3226\">The gap in the separation barrier near Qalandiya and Atarot industrial zone is part of a long section suffering from chronic weaknesses. A 2021 State Comptroller\u2019s report noted that only about 50% of the seam line was functional in preventing infiltrations, with some 1.4 million illegal crossings annually. Following the Ramot attack, security forces increased their presence in the area, but the gap remained partially open, allowing daily infiltrations.
