A new public square named Morton L. Mandel was inaugurated in Jerusalem, in the plaza between the Central Bus Station and the Yitzhak Navon railway station. The ceremony, attended by Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion, Jerusalem Foundation President Eric Grabelsky, and members of the Mandel Foundation\u2019s Board of Trustees, also included the naming of \u201cJerusalem\u2019s Gazelle Valley Park after Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel\u201d and the dedication of the \u201cSimon and Rose Mandel Garden\u201d. A 15-million-dollar contribution supports the expansion of the Gazelle Valley, one of Jerusalem\u2019s most significant urban nature sites.<\/p>\n
