During his tenure he built an integrated communications model, managed complex citywide messaging, and led public communication through major infrastructure projects and sensitive national events.<\/p>\n
Saranga coordinated the city\u2019s communication work across all sectors \u2013 general public, Haredi communities, Arab residents, and international media. He oversaw public messaging for major infrastructure projects including the expansion of the light rail network, new city entrances, park and ride facilities, and the development of the Jerusalem Gateway district. He strengthened digital operations, advanced campaigns on cleanliness, urban renewal and public space visibility, and managed Jerusalem\u2019s messaging during the COVID 19 pandemic and recent security events. His previous roles include spokesperson for the Israeli Air Force, head of communications at Israel Railways, and lecturer in communication at Ariel University.<\/p>\n
Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion notes that he respects Saranga\u2019s request to conclude his role. Lion states that \u201cI deeply appreciate the work he led over the past years.
