According to investigators, three residents of Modiin Illit are suspected of running unlicensed financial services, including cheque cashing and activities linked to money laundering and tax offenses. After months of undercover work, the investigation moved into an overt phase, involving coordinated raids across Jerusalem and the Samaria region. Searches were carried out at multiple locations, including four business premises inside Jerusalem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the raids, authorities seized approximately 482,000 shekels, 38,000 US dollars, 3,400 euros, along with additional foreign currencies.
