Over the past week, Israeli Border Police forces arrested some 460 illegal infiltrators across the country\u2014more than 280 of them in the greater Jerusalem area, many in life-threatening conditions: packed inside car trunks with no air and no water<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1696\">The arrests were part of a wide-scale operation led by Border Police Commander Brig. Gen. Brik Yitzhak. In southern Israel, 86 more were detained, and another 141 across the north, coast, and central regions. It affects public safety, crime levels, and the delicate demographic balance in a place like Jerusalem<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2332\" data-end=\"2376\">Carried, Hidden, and Caught in the Field<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2378\" data-end=\"2668\">The operation combined field intelligence, drone surveillance, advanced technologies, and physical deployment in both urban and rural areas.
