After successfully distributing activity kits to families sheltering at home, the Jerusalem Municipality has launched the next phase: colorful and creative kits are now being handed out in public shelters across the city, through local community councils. Each kit contains supplies for about 25 children – including markers, foam characters, stickers, play tunnels, and more – aiming to ease the emotional toll of prolonged hours in protected spaces

In parallel, the city issued a public call inviting residents to propose community-led initiatives that can uplift spirits and support each other in shelters. Dozens of selected ideas will receive municipal support and funding
